At Bistrot Pierre, we believe in making a positive impact where it matters the most – in our local community. Our commitment goes beyond serving delicious food, we are dedicated to supporting the neighborhoods that our Bistrot’s are proud to call home.

Focus on Local Impact

Each month, we collaborate with a handpicked selection of local charities, ranging from medical organisations, support networks and independent cases. The charities that we work with support various aspects of community needs, from supporting fundraising events and donating directly, every bit helps our community.

Over the last year, we’re proud to have supported over 81 local charities.

Pay It Forward Campaign

For the second year running, we have proudly ran our ‘Pay It Forward’ campaign, partnering with 17 charities across the UK that support vulnerable and isolated members of our community.

We were delighted to invite these groups to our Bistrot this January, providing a space to get together and enjoy a three course meal on us!

In total, we donated over 510 x 3 course meals to our guests.

Mother’s Day Campaign

This Mother’s Day, we’re proud to be working alongside our local charities to celebrate mother like figures within their community.

These individuals have been recognised for their extraordinary work within their community. As a ‘thank you’ for their continuous support, we’re delighted to be offering them a complimentary meal at Bistrot this Mother’s Day, with loved their ones.

Christine

Charity: Linking Lives Eastbourne

She has befriended different older people in the community experiencing loneliness, and has been committed to each one over years, faithfully visiting them every week. Christine also visits people at home through St Mary’s Parish Church and volunteers at Bernhard Baron Care Home, she has also opened her own home to welcome people. She currently has a young Ghanaian refugee family living with her.

Vicki

Charity: Action for Elders, Mumbles

Vicki is an exceptional individual who goes above and beyond in her role to ensure that we are helping as many older adults in the community as possible. Her dedication to her family and her work is truly inspiring, and she consistently demonstrates kindness, compassion, and selflessness in everything she does.

Roni does so much for other people and she does it all out of the kindness of her heart. She’s always ready to lend a hand or a kind ear to someone who’s having a tough time. She makes people feel special and valued through every interaction, which is transformative for the people our services support.

Tracy

Charity: Age UK Plymouth

She is passionate about getting people what they need in terms of support and access to services from other city wide organisations, in turn, making life easier and less stressful for those who are vulnerable. She not only uses her spare time to fundraise for the charity, taking part in challenges, but volunteers for the PTA at her daughter’s school, raising money and organising activities and events for the children at the school.
